Former Nigeria international Garba Lawal has expressed concern over what he described as a worrisome trend in the movement of Nigerian players in the ongoing transfer window with a number of underwhelming transfers involving Nigerian players.
Lawal speaking in a chat with www.playplay.ng said Nigerian players need to focus and step up their game at club level to command huge interest among Europe’s elite clubs.
He enthused that he earnestly hope to see the players come back stronger and make significant impacts at their respective clubs.
