This is the second enquiry the club have rejected for the player this summer.
Per Lyall Thomas, Senior Football Editor at Sky Sports, Liverpool FC have formally rejected an approach from Bayern Munich for their 28-year-old Colombian winger Luis Diaz.
Bayern’s recruitment chief Max Eberl was informed that Liverpool have no intention or desire to enter discussions, with communication ended immediately, following an approach last night. This is the second such enquiry that has been rebuffed this summer, following a previous one made by FC Barcelona.

I don’t 100% believe that Liverpool are staunchly opposed to a sale of the Colombian winger, given that they don’t plan to renew him, but it may speak to the lack of progress on replacements on the market. We may yet see further developments in this story if Lucho and his camp start agitating for a move, which seems to have gathered a bit of momentum recently.
The game Liverpool are playing here is certainly interesting. Give us an eyewatering figure, or we’re not entertaining any discussions for Lucho at all, seems to be the message. In that case… Al-Nassr, you’re next!
