Former Nigerian goalkeeper, Dosu Joseph believes the Super Eagles have what it takes to overcome Sierra Leone in Thursday’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Recall that the last time both teams met, the Leone Stars came from behind to draw 4-4 with Nigeria during the 2021 AFCON qualifiers.
However, in an interview with PlayPlay.ng, the Atlanta Olympic gold medalist stated that the Super Eagles under Jose Peseiro will take Sierra Leone to the cleaner this time around.
“I really don’t think the Super Eagles players will want a repeat of their 4-4 draw against Sierra Leone, knowing fully the expectations from Nigerians after the team failed to qualify for Qatar 2022 World Cup.
