PRESTON NORTH END VS. LIVERPOOL
| Wednesday, Oct 27th |
League Cup | Deepdale
7:45PM BST / 2:45PM EST
Between the Premier League and Champions League, Liverpool’s recent fixture list has been full of exciting matches between top-class competition, plus a match with Manchester United thrown in for good measure. As such, much of the first team will have earned a much-needed rest, which they are likely to get tonight against Preston North End.
Although the League Cup is pretty firmly the fourth most important competition that Liverpool are in, it still represents a chance to give some valuable game time to fringe players. Plus, you know, a domestic cup might be nice at some point under Jurgen Klopp. You know. Whenever. No rush.
