The English Premier League (EPL) resumed on Wednesday, June 12, with Sheffield United and Aston Villa playing out a draw, while Arsenal got comprehensively beaten by Manchester City.
The EPL was halted in March after Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, contracted the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Premier League resumption has seen temporary alterations to rules to help go through the remaining fixtures with minimum hitches and injuries.
One of those alterations would see clubs moving from 3 substitutes to 5 substitutes, which would allow nine players on the bench.
Another alteration would see the total closure to stadium grounds to fans, with authorities urging fans to stay at home and watch the remaining EPL fixtures.
