President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria Tonobok Okowa has stated that Nigerians can expect more medals from the Nigerian Junior Athletes who are competing for honors at the ongoing World Junior Athletics championship in Nairobi, Kenya after Team Nigeria picked her first Gold 
medal in the 4x400m mixed relay on Wednesday.

Okowa speaking in a chat with brila.net said that the athletes have been adequately prepared and he believes that the contingents will give Nigeria more medals at the junior meets together with the opportunity to see a number of those who could very well be on the radar for the next Olympics in Paris 2024.
